Kenya eTA Extension: How To Renew Your eTA

Kenya e-Visa Extension

A Kenya eTA is a single-entry permit which allows you to stay in the country for a maximum of 90 days.

If you decide to stay in Kenya longer than this, you can apply to extend your eTA at an Immigration Office.

You can extend your Kenya eTA twice, each time for an additional 90 days, giving you a maximum of 180 days.

You can also temporarily leave Kenya and reapply for a new eTA, which is often easier.

How to Apply for a Kenya Tourist eTA Extension

Visitors can extend tourist eTA at an Immigration Office in Kenya. eTA extensions are usually issued on the day, providing applicants have all the required documentation.

Although it’s possible to get a eTA extension from one of the smaller immigration offices (such as Kisumu, Lamu, and Malindi), applicants are normally referred to the 2 main offices in Nairobi (Nyayo House along Uhuru Highway) and Mombasa.

The Nairobi office is considered the most effective in processing extensions.
